The Online Sellers Association Blog is a place where member, and guest, professionals post information and share ideas and concepts about e-commerce with all members. Any member (free or paid) with an interesting article to contribute to our blog, or an idea to share, may use the “You Can Post” link under the Member item on the main menu to submit their content.
Amazon Book Recommendations

Through-out this site you will find Amazon book recommendations. Some will be text links, as above, usually comprised of the book title and, if it exists, sub-title, and some as visual displays like the one to the left.
Search Results
Using the search box at the top of the right sidebar allows you to easily find pages, blog posts, and documents from our database that contain the terms (or keywords) searched for. A typical search result will look something like the image below. In fact, this shows the first two returns (at the time this information was originally posted) for the keywords Google Checkout. You should note that search terms are not case sensitive.
Using This Site (Part 2)
Access control to member-only parts of the site is quite sophisticated. Everyone who comes to the site — visitors and members alike — can see all menus and sidebars but only content that is accessible by their control level.
Five main pages (Home Page, About OSA, F.A.Q., Experts Blog, Contact Us)and three sub-pages from the footer menu (Privacy Policy, Term Of Use, Site Map) are open, public, pages and available to everyone.
Using This Site (Part 1)
The Online Selling Association website is built using the WordPress content management system (CMS) and those familiar with such sites will find a lot of the usual navigation and other features here. We do have some custom areas and some special features added as well.
The general layout (see below) of the new site is similar to our old site with only minor differences. Access to the site, however, is controlled by an entirely new, and very powerful process, which allows us to offer several different membership levels tailored to the needs of a more diverse group of online sellers.
General Blog Access
All subscribed members, including free Bronze level memberships, have access to all blog posts in the following categories: Book Reviews, General Comments, Guest Posts, Member Information, and Using This site.
Public access users (non-subscribed) will not have access to blog posts and free Bronze level memberships will only see the snippets (or teasers) for information documents from the database. All paid level memberships (Silver and up) will be able to read all document content.
